How you liking it so far? I normally upgrade phones every other generation (i have the 8+) because i feel like for what you pay it isnt really worth it but the 11 has been interesting so im wondering if i should make the jump or not.

Really loving it so far. The camera is worlds better in every single way than even the XS Max, especially at night, and is a total joy to use. It seems to be able to handle anything you throw at it with ease. Night time shots are unreal. It takes incredibly beautiful, vibrant & colorful shots with no noise, even in near total darkness. Battery life is significantly better. Even after heavy use and a lot of photo-taking, it doesn't seem to drop past 65-70% by the end of the day. They really hit it out of the park with this one, imo.

Damn... and I just upgraded my 7Plus to the XS Max a couple of months ago. Oh well, in 2 years the 12 will be out. The 7Plus was still a very current phone and I did not really need an upgrade, but the battery was beginning to fade fast at the end of the day... kept it for almost 3 years, which is unbelievably long for me.

Apples been know to do software(ios) upgrades that deliberately kill your battery on older phones to force you to buy a new one.

current update seems ok on the 8 so far. alot faster operating than before as well.

Still have the 7 Plus. Battery life is fine for me. I charge it once during the day because I use it quite often for work and once at night.
