@Zsikd I feel like they might end up totaling it. With your car having 100K+ miles they might place it's value in the mid-high teens. Does it run and drive ok other than the physical damage? Did you have a dashcam? It might end up in an insurance auction, junkyard buys it, and parts it out for 2x it's value.

If they total it would you look for another GS? lux models are harder to find. Keep us updated.

The car drives like a dream still. Nothing wrong other than the blind spot acting all funny, but that’s expected. I did not have a dash cam and the collision was from the other vehicle hitting me from the rear. If they do total it, which they might considering the structural damage, I will maybe buy it back. It’s very hard to find a luxury edition and I love my car... if they don’t let me buy it back for cheap, I will get a 16+ GS, although I really want a luxury edition.

I think luxury package was offered 2016-2017, but also very rare. If you do find one you would have full screen nav.

they are rare but maybe I’ll find one... who knows? I’m confident that mind might be totaled but unsure?

Walked out this morning in the cold (50 degree) Central Florida air, with just a light drizzle going on, nothing more than a mist really. Saw the beading and took a shot... never saw such small beads, almost uniform in size as well. I felt compelled to take a couple of shots.

I'm using Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer as my last step product and apply it every other wash or so. It's one of the most hydrophobic products I've ever used but the application pretty much sucks. I last applied a diluted mixture of BSD 3 weeks ago, washed the car Saturday morning, drove from Palm Beach to Orlando, and this was the car Sunday morning. The diluted BSD still works, but it's durability is down a couple of notches. Once I hopped in the car, the wind pretty much blew all the water right off, and the car looked freshly washed.
