I finally got a chance to wash and seal after completing a swirl removal with Meguiars M105 and M205. I always have cursed black cars until I wash and seal them.
Looks good! Owning black cars is considered a hobby if ya want them looking pristine. They look so good when they're dialed in though and like crap when ya live in the rust belt like me.

Thanks! Yeah it's my second black car and obsidian is pretty temperamental but a beautiful mirror once clean. I keep my cars for a long time and as the body style ages, keeping it clean and swirl free is the best exterior mod to keep it looking modern. My last was a 2006 that looked better than many new cars on the road.
I sometime am jealous of my wife's silver NX which always looks clean, even though it's the one that isn't garaged.
I usually look at the weather before I even bother washing it since once rain shower will undo all of the work.
Over the years the best way I've learned to keep the finish swirl free is to wash it less. I aim for once a month and try to never touch the paint in between. I use Adam's H20 Guard and Gloss to seal and protect with every wash and it does a great job at repelling dirt and contaminants in between washes.

Paint looks really good ... but that bare tire is pulling my eye... some tire dressing perhaps? And tint too!

Thanks! Yeah I do the tire dressing after I pull the car back in the garage and let them dry a little longer. I am torn with these tires. I am used to running Michelin PS4S tires but the dealer installed new Nexen all-seasons so it's hard to toss brand new tires. This chassis is an amazing handler so I'd love to not hesitate before tossing it into turns.
Even though I am in Florida I am good without tint since the car is garaged at home and work and I don't use it for much else. I did get the custom Covercraft windshield shade though!
