They had it in stock in the US warehouse when I ordered it.
Would you mine PM me how much you paid for the bumper with CF lip? I've asked Lou at ModInJapan to PM me price immediately when bumper was in stock, but he never did . I've been waiting for over a year for this bumper to come to US.
And which side skirt are those?
A friend and I took the GS on a nice drive today along Pacific Coast Highway starting in Santa Monica and turning off somewhere in Malibu for a drive through some of the canyons. We eventually found our way back to civilization and hopped back onto the freeway to head back home. We ended up roughly 40 miles away by this point.
I have a section of the trip before the drive home highlighted if you want to check it out
Here's a close-up of my favorite part
All in all, it was about a 90-100 mile drive through cities, tight & twisty mountain roads, large sweeping canyons, freeways and back through cities. I can't say I've ever appreciated my GS as much as I do today.
What an awesome machine. The drive modes really do an incredible job transforming this car and making it feel at home no matter what kind of road you find yourself on. Sport S+ is my new favorite mode. It really transforms the car, especially in the steering department. I switched to Eco and Normal for some stretches of the windy road (my friend didn't appreciate my "more spirited" driving ) and you can really notice how much quicker the steering response is in Sport S+. In addition, the heavier weighting combined with the quicker response just made it feel so precise and as a result just makes the entire car feel super solid. It just felt so good and might just be one of my favorites things about this car.
...And when all the fun is over and I just want to cruise back home, I switch it back to Normal mode and wow, I'm driving a Lexus again. The ride is soft again, the steering now feels lighter, looser and less eager to follow my inputs, as do both pedals. It is insane. It's insane how this family sedan can feel so comfortable and at home whether I'm driving like a grandma to keep my queasy friend at bay or I'm trying to comfortably but quickly get through a couple miles of twisty canyons. It is just so happy to do either of the two and it does both and everything in between so well. It also adapts and responds well to different driving styles in such a way that some little old lady could easily daily drive this thing to the market and back yet at the same time some young 25-year-old boy-racer could have some fun with it on a twisty backroad. It really is a Jekyll & Hyde kind of car and I love it for that.
Nice to see so many nice GS350’s and how well they are being taken care of. I think it’s been 7 months since I last washed mine. Those who know me know that’s totally not like me. I need to find time to get back to taking care of it. My GS also became victim to another hit and run. Someone reversed into the driver side rear door and left. You can see it in the pics below.
Didn't wash the car for a month - had to give it a quick hand wash and took a drive. Noticed when I washed it that 3 of the 4 valve stem caps were missing - who steals those these days??!!
It was ~60 degrees in NYC and was nice to get out and drive around a bit.
