Ceramic coating is great. I had it done on my GX and it worked as advertised. You can also do it yourself if you have the patience and the paint is correct (or correct yourself)

It's definitely time consuming to C coat. Just spent 3 days on my RX paint correcting.

Oh yeah. My GX was 18 months old and needed correction. That is the reason they would like to work on new cars immediately. Not saying new cars don't need correction. Just less due to wear and tear on the paint over time

Car is looking good, signdetres.

But that's not looking like your normal hood...

Haha you're right, I'm a good 50 miles or so from my usual turf. I've been visiting a close relative who's just about at the end of their life... One of those "could be any day now" sort of situations so I've been trying to get over there as much as I can. That said, I've done a lot of driving in the GS this past week and have really been enjoying it's grand touring abilities. For example, yesterday it took me a solid 2 hours to get from my side of town over there but with adaptive cruise, steering assist, and all the other wonderful qualities to the GS, it really didn't feel like 2 hours. Super relaxing and great when you wanna just kind of zone out, forget the world & cruise.

Very sorry to hear that, my friend. Will be thinking of you in the days ahead.

Glad you're able to get out and enjoy the GS. My GS added a mere 58 miles to the ODO in the past month. As much as I love the car, I'm starting to wonder about whether it makes any sense to keep it. My work from home situation is schedule to last for about one more year, so that's another year of not commuting into the office. Just not sure what to do, but that's a different discussion/thread I suppose.
