I’m an older guy who loves and appreciates anyone’s passion for cars. I respectfully say that I simply don’t know the reasons for these kinds modifications and I’m very interested to learn why you do them. The car looks surreal, and I’m sure you get tons of attention, but how does it drive? How do you avoid damaging it? What is the road feel like, on less-than-perfect pavement?

you don’t drive it like that that’s how it sits when it’s parked! It’s called airbags

To be fair - I've seen cars almost this low driving. I always get a kick out of the little zig-zag thing they do at every slight dip so they don't scrape.

I don't drive it like that. I do have the complete air suspension from Airlift. When I drive the car I raise it up to drive height which is right above the tires for all four corners. If I need to get over a speed bump or a drive way I raise the car even higher with a push of a button. It's very convenient because I don't damage anything and I can drive low and I can park even lower.
As for how it drives, it's very very comfortable. It's so smooth on the road which is what I want. I've never had any issues on any type of pavement. As to why I did this...it's simple, I love driving low cars. Ever since I started driving I always lowered each car I've owned through the years. From cut springs, to lowering springs to coilovers. I'm a lot older now so air suspension is perfect for me.
There are two other GS's where I work, but they never park next to me. However, the planets finally aligned today, and I got to my car to discover this:
(Mine is the black one in the middle.)
It kind of bugs me that the gold one is facing the other way, but I'll take what I can get.
