I'm not too happy with my finish right now, I don't find the polish and Sonax BSD holding up like it has in the past, I'm seeing "streaks" when I wash the car, showing where it may have worn off. Maybe applying the BSD again after the next couple of washes may help maintain it's integrity. How's the BSD holding up for you?

Thanks very much! Of course it rained the same day I washed it so it's spotted but that's the trade-off for black.
The Sonax BSD had been awesome. I wash once per month and I didn't expect the level and intensity of beading after a month of dust sitting on the surface but it was still there.
I've only used it diluted 30/70 BSD/Water as a drying agent, sprayed liberally on the wet car then a pass with a wet microfiber and a second pass with a lightly damp one. I do that after every wash and it's worked very well for me, I'm about order a gallon of the stuff once my small bottle runs out soon.

... which is what I used to do. Maybe the novelty is wearing off after 4 years of ownership.
I also skipped a step... the last two paint corrections I did, I applied Sonax Polymer Net Shield on top of the BF One Step. The PNS in itself is like BSD on steroids. And when maintained with the BSD after every other wash or so, it lasted a looooooong time. I need to up my detailing game again... I will wait until the weather cools some more then perform another One Step correction, PNS sealant and a final topping of BSD, if I still have the strength and the will to do so.

I don't doubt that will look great but I'd go the opposite direction before putting in so much effort. Lightly hit it with a clay towel then apply the BSD as a drying agent and that should do it. That's all I've been doing for the past 5+ years, using Adam's H20 Guard and Gloss before I switched to BSD. The outcome has always kept me happy.
2013 Lexus GS 450h Sport Luxury in Melbourne Australia. In Sonic Silver it’s only done just over 50,000 Klm ( 30,000 miles) these are fairly rare, in fact I have only seen 2 in the last year. Just my Sunday ride, I really love this car.
