Picked up the GS!

I loved the A6, but the main issue was Audi doesn't have a very good lease. In order to get the equipment I wanted (even things as simple as ventilated seats and a power tilt wheel) you have to get the Prestige model which is priced similarly to the luxury package GS. They weren't willing to come off as much as Lexus (no rebates) and their leases are terrible. An A6 priced $1k less than my GS would have cost me $200 more a month.
I also like the 5 series, its a great looking car. But again, to get something as simple as ventilated seats you need to get something incredibly high package. A comparable 5 to my GS would have been $70k.

The GS lease and buy discounting is very good now with all the new GS hoopla is gone.
It's a very nice car.Especially the interior.
I like silver w/black but that flaxen looks good and doesn't look like it would be a biatch to keep clean.

Yeah I like the flaxen because its different, I've had black, grey, and cream...although the grey is very sharp with the espresso wood in the luxury package.
This lease is $75 LESS a month than I was quoted on an ES350 after they just came out LOL. I bought it from the salesman and the finance guy who convinced me to wait...which I thanked them for.
I did the math on what they could sell me a new ES for right now, this cost me $25 a month more. Wild.

I'm not a fan of the new ES.The GS is a much nicer car.I just love the interior.Nice look and feel.Real quality.
The Flaxen looks good but I'd have to see it in person.I always want black leather but that color can be in the mix in the future.
Those numbers are wild too.

Pics at last!
I've put about 100 miles on it now, absolutely love the car. It really is like 2 cars in one, easy and comfortable in normal mode, and taut and fun in Sport +...

Steve, off topic, but how how you finding the new mouse-like controller vs. the touch screen of the ES350? Is there much of a learning curve so far?

It takes a little getting used to, but I've adjusted the feedback all the way up, which keeps me from overshooting the options I want. At the stock feedback setting it was a mess...
