The GS is $140 a year more than my ES was, which I thought was pretty reasonable.

My insurance show single, no accidents or violations, full covergae with $500 deductable for Colision and $100 deductable for Comp, and I pay $480 every 6 months.

I feel its a fair deal!?

HOLY CRAP! I WISH mine was $480 every 6 months.. I pay $215 a month. Yea I'm definitely getting raped in Florida, and they don't even give me a kiss after they rape me every month.

Yeah I think mine on the GS is $540 every 6 months...I'm sure I could do better but I've been with my agent a long time and don't want to switch.

So much of it has to do with your age, location, demographic, are you married, college educated/graduate educated, what other coverages you have, deductibles, etc.

If you have high rates, what is your deductible? Mine is $100 for comprehensive which is cheap, and $1,000 for collision. Anything under $1,000 I'd never submit anyways. That makes a HUGE difference in your premium. Are you paying for rental reimbursement, etc? Thats seldom a good deal...

I am right at $500 per six months with State Farm. I'm 29 and single, which has a large impact with the rate being so high. I also have a $500 deductible across the board.

We're probably in the same canoe rowing up "****'s Creek". Mine works out to about $1300 every 6 months. What's yours?
I just turned 26, HAD about 3 dozen tickets (no exaggeration, maybe more) in my lifetime, although 2-3 are on record. Have $500 Deductible across the board and $100K-300K Coverage.

You guys are all getting amazing deals lol. Maybe it's because I'm in LA... No tickets or accidents, 25. Over $200/mo no matter where I shop

I believe that there is a tier you hit at age 25 that lowers your rate slightly. A lot of the rate depends on location (crime rate, etc.) Here in the Midwest it is pretty reasonable.

Another thing to consider is if you own a home. I also have a $1M umbrella policy that gives me additional discounts.

I'm double that. I used to be at $135 month on the IS and $115 on the RR Sport. But an accident and some other fun tickets and your insurance changes.

Full 100k/300k on the GS (maybe 300k/300k, i can't remember, after my accident i only get 100k/300k or more, definitely worth it) and I believe my deductibles are all at $500 as well. I'm 23 though. This car was the best on insurance compared to all the other cars I was looking at! So to the OP, this car is definitely good on insurance, depends what car you're coming from but its a lot more fair than most cars out there..

Ohhh those were the days...I remember when i was just like you on this forum, laughing at people with high insurance because my parents paid next to nothing for car insurance. Wait til you get off your parents insurance..or better yet get dropped for speeding, etc. If so, you'll be writing exactly what I am right now. Enjoy it while you can.
