The owners manual says the headlight bulb is a D4S.

Exactly. While the 6k looks whiter and better IMO it provides less light in reality over the 4300k. The 8k or 10k would be downright dangerous let alone ricer looking putting out that blue light. To each their own I guess.

I had the Garax D4S 6000K running on my car previously. But i found that the HID is whiter than the DRL. The colour dun match... So i took it out...

I agree 8K or 10K is over the top and Rice a Roni but it's his choice.
