Default Bluetooth and Galaxy S3

I love the fact that I can use bluetooth to pair my phone with my GS350 but I am having issues on the music side of things. I use the Galaxy S3's stock music app called "music player" (it's samsung's deal) and I have no problem pairing the phone with the car but when I get some music going, shut off my car, and get back in, the music just starts over from the beginning of the song. Sometimes, it doesn't pair either. Does anyone have any experience with their S3 music player and bluetooth on the GS350? I'm inclined to think this is a phone issue and not a car issue but who knows.

I haven't used the stock music player, but i have used the Sirius XM app so I can listen to Jason Ellis onDemand. No issues with connecting. I just start the show on the phone then toggle the radio over to BT.

I use PowerAmp on my Galaxy S3. Had a similar problem when I got back in the car. There is a setting in PowerAmp to automatically start playing on bluetooth A2DP connect. Turned that off and no problem.

When I get in the phone pairs and won't start playing until I hit play on the GS Nav screen or on the phone.

that's great. I will download that player. It doesn't start playing whatever was on the stock player by default?

It seems to use the last player used. I only use PowerAmp now.

Go to settings>headphones and uncheck the BT A2DP.
