I know it was mentioned before but I dont remember; if you install the f-sport intake do you lose the intake sound generator that feeds into the cabin?

Yes, you do lose the engine sound generator when you get on the gas. When installing the F Sport CAI you are replacing the OEM intake tube which houses the sound generator.

Great photos. So you lose the sound but what do you gain?

I honestly dont think the f sport intake will make gains that you can feel if any at all its not really worth it. Its all for fun and looks and plus its not really a "true" CAI.

Well that sucks.... A shiny tube is not worth losing that beautiful sound.

Was this dynoed on a 2013 gs350? I think he's using past dyno to project onto the gs350. The gain on the current gs350 could already have been atributed. Is the current intake of the gs350 exactly the same size? If there is a dyno on the gs350, please provide link.

Dyno'd on a IS350.Same 306 HP engine I believe.
I will say I owned a IS350 w/Joe Z pipe and didn't feel any performance gain but sounded nice stomping on it.

Ehh I think I'll just keep the stock intake and purchase the joe z exhaust when it is released. Does anyone know the ETA on it btw? I'm dying over here waiting!

The motor would breathe better with a aftermarket intake though.
