Is the "Crown" the Japanese version of the GS?

The Crown was built in parallel with the GS (and Aristo) and a very popular VIP platform as well

I had a Crown Hybrid shortly after selling my 3GSh. Very similar powertrain, slightly detuned as it's geared more towards comfort than sport. Can't say I'm a big fan of the newest model's front end though...

I wish I had a picture of the awesome LCD instrument cluster. Basically looked like this:
The Japanese E-Class analogy is very apt. Despite the fact that it's a very well equipped luxury vehicle, some are used as taxis in Japan (much like how the E-class is used as a taxi in Germany).
I don't think TIMG works on this board so my apologies for the large images, I'll remove the IMG tags if requested.
