My smartphone is a Blackberry 9900 and my car is a 2013 GS350 AWD with the full nav system, etc.
I am having some issues with the messaging funcionality of the car. I am able to have the car read my emails but there are two issues:

- I have confgured the Lexus setup to not update the read status of my emails, but it still seems to mark all emails as read.

I have an iphone 4S and during setup, my sales guy told me that the "reply" feature doesn't work. He explained that in the future when the phone manufacturer's update the apps it may work.

Thanks - what about your read/unread marking of emails. Does it work properly for you or are you seeing the same behaviour that I describe?
Regarding the reply - is this a Lexus shortcoming or a phone shortcoming?
