I have mixed driving, mostly city but 3 times a week I do a 40 mile highway round trip. I get 19 mpg give or take a little. I thought mine was ok and to hear some of you guys are getting 13! Holy crap.

have 1k miles on the car, majority of my driving is in the highway, but i do hit a lot of traffic, so i would say it's mostly stop and go.

it's in eco mode, i'm getting about 21 mpg.

i'm going to switch to normal mode next time i fill up and see if it's different.

i do go to sport + mode once in a while, but it's very short bursts of fun.

21-23 MPG driving around the DFW Metroplex which includes 50% freeway, 50% neighborhood driving.
28-30 MPG on the highway, depending on winds (tailwind or headwind)
I rarely drive in anything but Normal Mode. And I don't baby the car, I enjoy it.

Wow, you're doing really well! I live in the DFW Metroplex and average 20 mpg. That's with 5 days a week local city driving and every Saturday highway driving up to Plano. I'm still satisfied with the mpg.

5,500 miles on the car, 50% Normal, 25% Sport, 25% Sport+.

Drive at the speed limit, watch what is happening ahead of you, do not tailgate, and accelerate at a reasonable rate. Anticipate when traffic lights will change. It's easy and sort of fun to watch the mpg's increase. My measured mpg is higher than what the car computer says. According to the computer, lifetime mpg = 24.9.

But seriously I more or less drive the speed limit and keep my distance (not trying to kiss anyone lol). The acceleration to the speed limit is what is killing me!

On a recent trip, I got 27.3 mpg for half a tank, doing 70-75 in ECO. My lifetime is 19.9 mostly in Normal. Should go up with warmer temp and summer gas.

i'm getting probably around 12...all city driving...i'm actually pretty surprised how bad the mpg are. my brother has an srt8 cheerokee that gets the same and it's a v8 with over 100hp more.

I live in the DFW area. I recently bought my F Sport with 5,400 miles on it. I've filled up 3 times so far and I've averaged 19.1, 19.7 and 19.5. All of these are hand calculated. The computer is within 1/2 a mpg. I think I drive pretty aggressively but I will throw it in eco mode when I'm in the 30 or 40 mph zones to keep me from speeding. I use the ECO mode as my " radar system!

Wow those are some really low numbers. You guys must floor the car a lot then. I had my first freeway trip a while back when the car was still new and averaged about low 20s, mostly normal (no ECO) and some S/S+. SW had his and averaged at 25. Haven't paid much attention to this until I saw this post. I checked my car this morning and saw high 24s. Still same way I drive, mostly city, Normal mode with some S/S+. (I was averaging around 19 when it was new) Pulled the phone out to take a picture at the light and it went down to exactly 24. Compared with some of your numbers, I can't complain. I use Shell Premium only. I'm not sure if that helps but I'm sure it won't hurt.

nice. lots of DFW drivers in here! I live in DFW and probably do 80% city driving and 20% highway and pretty much all in sport mode. I am gonna try all eco and all normal and try not speeding or tailgating or anything like that. Will report when I have something to report!
