I have been on the highway once, a trip of about 225 miles to Phoenix and back. I live in Tucson, not a massive metropolis, but a city without a highway system. All my driving is stop and go. It is not New York City driving, but there are plenty of traffic lights. I usually drive in the Sport + setting because I like the firmer suspension setting. Let the flames begin!
26.5 100% city and I believe you said in another thread all in Sport+ mode.
Did you get 40+ with 100% highway on that trip?

I got 250-260 a tank with normal driving. Seems kinda bad for only normal driving already. My car has around 500 mileage on it.

ECL...lol...I think you need a new calculator.

You must see how ridiculous your claims are compared to the experience of every other poster here.

When I drove my 06 GS430, I got around 15 mpg, but I didn't pound on the gas like I am with the 4GS. This thing begs to be put in Sport + and blown out all the time.

I'm getting around 16 mpg on latest tank with a heavy foot.

I dunno about the 3GS, but in both of my 2GS 400/430, i get 18-19 city and 24-25 hwy consistently..and I drive it pretty hard too.

I think having the resonator makes me step on the gas more often just to hear that roar more than I ever did with my 430.

I think your definitions of "city" are different than mine. Do you mean "not on a highway, but on 80km/hr roads with very few traffic lights and other cars"?.

My definition of city is bumper to bumper commute during rush hour (averaging 20km/hr on 50km/hr roads) with a lot of stop lights and people weaving in and out. And toss in a few elevation changes too.

city driving = stop signs on every other block or every block (depending) on private roads... on local streets = stop lights on damn near every corner. maybe that's why i get 14.4 and plus warming up the car will do it. on the highway my MPG increases.

Just filled up today for the first time in my new car. Fairly pleased with 20.6 mpg (actual miles/gallons) in suburban driving. The After Refueling number was 20.3. All in all, quite pleased
