For the first year I drove in Normal or Sport and averaged 17 mpg in the city and 20 mpg on the highway. Lately I've been trying ECO in the city and I'm averaging 20-21mpg across the board. ECO makes much more difference in the city than on the highway, from my experience.

How are you guys getting such great gas mileage? My first tank of gas, I averaged 17MPG. 3/4 into my 2nd tank of gas, I'm averaging 15.9 MPG. I have yet to open her up and drive like 90% city in Econo mode. Maybe gas mileage will improve once she breaks in some more. I'm at a tad over 400 miles now since June 1st.

I wouldn't mind 16.5MPG if I was revving her up like she should be. But I'm still driving her granny style for now. It's still better than my 2000 supercharged Camry. I use to remote start it and drove it like I stole it. I was getting something like 12-14MPG only. LOL

around 23-24 mpg weekly, it's mostly highway but id' say about 50% of the time is spent in stop and go traffic.
i drive in eco mode all the time and hardly accelerate aggressively.

I'm getting between 21-22. Luxury model, 60% freeway, fairly conservative driver. Next week I'll have a chance to see how it does for a steady 70 mpf, for a full tank of gas. 3,000 miles so far.

I continue to get 25 to 27+ mpg, 100% in town driving, almost always in Sport +. I plan a 650 mile highway trip next week and hope/plan to get over 30 mpg. Report to follow.

Just filled my first tank of gas at the 300 mark (received the car with 18 miles on it). I have been driving only in Eco mode and drive the speed limit very conservatively. I usually get fantastic gas mileage out of my IS 6 speed, but this was less than stellar with the new GS.
282 miles driven ÷ 15.429 gallons pumped at the tank = 18.28 MPG.
(Shell V-Power 93 octane used for refill)
I believe my gauge cluster for the "after refueling" setting read 17.1 at the time of refuel.
I plan to continue to track the MPG in Eco mode using only Shell V-Power for a few more tanks then try out sport and sport+ mode accordingly.

New guy chiming in on mileage. I don't have a GS yet, considering a sedan after a few 5 years of driving trucks. My last sedan was a MB E550. I've been eyeing the 350 F
I'm glad i looked at real world mileage, this looks like a truck forum lol. I have 2 trucks, a 2012 F250 Superduty diesel 4x4 crew, and a 2012 F150 Ecoboost 4x4 crew. I drive mostly around the Houston area daily. Considering trading the Ecoboost for a luxury sedan, and get some fuel mileage to boot. My Ecoboost right now has about 18000 miles on it and I'm currently 250 city miles on this tank, with mileage at 17.9. Long drives if I keep it around 65mph I can see 20. My 6.7 8400lb truck will see 17-18 on a long trip and usually 16 on a tank in Houston traffic.
It's all in how u drive it for sure. I can stomp the gas everywhere I go and get 14 on a tank. I can take it easy and get 18-20.
Hard to tell why these mpg ratings vary, I can only assume its how it's driven. I know it's a sports sedan, hard to keep ur foot out of it.

My first tank on the trip today, 95% highway driving, mostly with cruise control set for 75 mph, actual milage was 29.8 mpg.
