Is there a better way to pop off the mirror? I tried several times and stopped. I must have fat fingers and scared that I might break something.

This is the only way: put all 4 of your finger behind the back of the mirror and pulling it out. Do it from the outer side first. You only need one clip came off first and the rest just bread & butter.

Finally, I got it done. It was very painful on the finger tips trying to release the clips, but it is down.

Great, thank you for the post. Would anyone who is a previous 2011-2012 owner know if this is the same for these model years?
Thanks all.

I missed something. I still have about 10 days until my car arrives, so I'm not sure why you wanted to change bulbs. Is it to add color, brighter lighting, less energy consumption, or something else?

People prefer modern look white LED bulb than yellow filament, also less heat & energy consumption.

This will be my first DIY project.
I'm watching the cargo ship coming in from the Pacific Ocean to Portland, oregon with my car tonight, via The MarineTraffic app on my phone. Should be unloading it in the morning. It's heading down the Columbia river now.
