For the daily driver, I'd choose the Accord over the Camry. I think Honda built a superior car in this current iteration. For the toy, maybe an m3? That or the Cayman S like you said.

have you considered a mazda 3 hatchback or the new diesel mazda 6 as a daily driver?

for fun... a used e92 m3 would be great if you do not mind the maintenance. a cayman s is pretty solid as well used. you can probably find a decent 650 used on the market as well. audi tt-rs is great but at that price, i can see why a lot of people would get a used 997 carrera s

congrats on the new family addition

Yeah...the Accord is much better looking for sure!

I like the M3s, but don't think I want the maint to go with it???

With two children and one on the way, I kind of need to stick with a full size five seater, so anything smaller than a Camry, Accord, Altima just won't do.

I kind of like the Cayman R, but hate the stripe at the bottom of the doors. Found one in a really cool "look at me" lime green, with carbon fixed wing, etc...pretty nice, plus i like how the "R" has straps to pull the door closed to save on weight. A car truly for FUN!!!
