Can you get the car with the lowering springs and and illuminated door sills from factory.? Thoughts on the lowering springs?

Nope, you can get the illuminated door sills from factory or could be a dealer installed option. The springs no way a factory option and they aren't even out yet as well.

Interesting as the brochures said 2012 availability. Looks like they are running behind.

Main concern on door sills is trim removal, potential damage, and introducing rattles.

Yeah I have been asking relentlessly on the ETA for the springs. Probably later this month. The part is in the ordering system, but has no part number yet. That is what the dealer parts department told me end of January.

Can someone please clarify .. is the F-Sport spring meant be used on the NON F-Sport model? Are they already standard on F-Sport? Or are these lowering springs similar to the Tanabe ones that are already available for use on both F-Sport and NON F-Sport models?

The Lexus site is vague.

The F-Sport springs aren't standard on the F-Sport model. It's a part of the whole "F-Sport accessories" items you can buy for your car. As far as I know they can be used on base and luxury models as well.
