Slight popping, ML, usb, ipod

I have noticed a slight popping while playing music via USB on my ipod touch.

I have the ML as well.

No other sources are affected. Changing to BT fixes the issue.

Anyone else hearing this?

I noticed the popping sound too. I've moved most of my music to a 128GB SSD and have not heard the unintended noise.

No issues here with an iPhone5 with iOS6.1 on ML.
