I got flaxen on my Nebula Gray F-Sport and happy with my decision. It looks expensive and gets lots of compliments. But, I just noticed that one of my bottom bolsters is starting to discolor due to the dark pants I usually wear. Probably will use some cleaner to get it off. I usually get black leather, but when I saw flaxen, I was sold!

My dealer (the finance guy who offers all the add-ons) mentioned some interior protection plan when we were closing the deal, saying it would cover discoloration due to blue jeans and the like. But when he realized our car had black interior, he said we wouldn't have that problem and it probably wasn't worth purchasing. He wasn't really pushing any of the add-ons except he recommended the wheels/tires protection, which he ended up selling me at a discount, so I believe he was shooting straight with me on the packages. Just an option to think about if you get a lighter interior, and there is room to negotiate on those packages.

use meguiars quick interior detailer weekly, and also leather masters cleaner and protection once every 2-3 months.

this wont 100% prevent dye transfer from jeans to lighter colored interiors, but it will definitely help.
