Default Any Prob with Black Interior?

I was leaning towards Starfire Pearl and wanted the Flaxen interior but none of the dealers around me have that combo. All they have is black interior which I've never had before. So my question is is it hard to keep clean or is it hot during the summer? I don't really want to special order. any thoughts? thx.

I had a black interior on my previous GS. It would get dusty, but I did not have to clean the seats as often as I do now I now have the flaxen interior and I literally must clean the seats every other week....

Black is the only color interior I buy if available.
Looks great, easy care, wears better, stays clean with no seat stain worries from jean dye etc.

No problems with summer heat but I'm not in FL,AZ etc.

Have black here too. Last summer we had some hot days and I didn't notice the black to be any hotter than my wife's flaxen interior.

I have Starfire/Black Int. combo and love it. Easy to keep clean. I wouldn't have any other combo.

easiest interior to maintain... as opposed to the black exterior which is a B***H to maintain. i had SP/BLK, easy maintenance all around.

Black is one of the best interior choices IMO. It wears well, doesn't show marks and in the fsport looks great with all the contrasting stitching and the metal trim.

Heat on the inside is not a big deal either (not a big temp range by color, unlike the exterior), plus you have seat ventilation.

For more on ext/int temp see http://www.tom-morrow-land.com/tests/cartemp/index.htm

Black is always nice. Especially with the
new trim. Ventilation kinda
negates the heat problem to me.
Easy to clean. I buff it with a little
Lexol Conditioner.

I always get black interior as long as you condition it it lasts forever , however in the gs the flaxen has much nicer contrast especially since the wood trim is so dark, I vote for flaxen

I would never buy anything but black interior anymore. Had a light beige interior years ago and couldn't keep it clean. Black is very easy to keep clean and looking great for many years. I live in DC area and excessive heat is not that big of a deal. I always use sun shields inside the windshield when parked for awhile outside.

I have the blk interior also, no issues at all less dirt will show on the seat but the dash , u just have to keep it clean , its just a wipe and its gone , use Lexol wipes, it works great.

I wouldn't have any other color than black for my interior. Have had too many bad experiences with light interiors absorbing dye from clothing and from getting dirty in general. Go with the black and you'll be happier in the long run.

i don't know if i would want a GS with black interior, kind of makes it look plain.

maintenance wise, just takes 30 min a week to maintain, and that's being excessive.

I like black, but I think on the GS the black interior can look a little plain. I love the flaxen with the linear espresso wood, the grey is very sharp with the linear espresso wood too.
