I had my 10k service and met with the technology specialist with the following questions:

1. Random slow start on the NAV: he's still investigating and will provide answers
2. Automatic seat heaters: There's only one setting available: ON / OFF. If ON, the seat heaters will automatically turn on when in ECO mode and outside temperate is low. They will also automatically scale down as it gets warmer in the car. OFF they will never turn on automatically, and will not scale down, and will remember if you left them on before.
3. GraceNote Update: included in the new MAP USB. For those if you who have purchased the 2012 MAPS, you should have the Gracenote update in there.
4. NAV Firmware: not yet available
5. RES+ currently no definite plans to have it on the GS.

There a firmware update for people with phone pairing option gray out problem. Someone post a TSB in this forum earlier.

For the automatic turn on seat heater with ECO mode, did they said how cold of the ambient temperature for it to turn on? Mine with ambient around 40 - 50 and it won't auto turn on.

They didn't say the temperature, but I noticed in my car, it has to be under 35ish. The garage is usually 10 degrees warmer than outside.

What does the Gracenote update contain. How much is it to upgrade?

I thought all our cars had 2012 update nav. I thought we were waiting for the 2013 update. Did they say anything about when a firmware would be out or how long.

if you got your car before September 2012 you have the 2011 map data. 2013 data will not come until September. no dates on the firmware
