A surprise feature
Maybe everyone else knew about this, but a found out about another fantastic feature of the GS350 today. We were driving from Sedona to Tucson today, with many long, steep downhill stretches. I had the cruise control set for 75, the speed limit on that part of the interstate. On the long downhills, when the car tried to accelerate over the speed set on the cruise control, it automatically downshifted to prevent exceeding the set speed. I was impressed! It really made cruising down those hills easier. Plus, by the computer, we averaged 30.3 MPG with the cruise set at 75! Probably will be over 31 when we fill the tank.

Yeah i drove from Chicago to Indianapolis right after i got mine on cruise. Round about the same speed and it hovered in the same mpg. If your not a speed demon you can get pretty good mileage out the car. But hey something you got to thump it cause that is why we bought them.

Just wondering why you seem to switch vehicles every year?
If you were dissatisfied with a particular vehicle, why?
Do you have a problem re-learning all the new features?
If not, what is your "secret"?

Anyway, I really like the downshifting it does when on cruise. My CC didn't do that.

Every car I've ever had with cruise control has operated the same way... Cruise control wouldn't be much use if it didn't hold speed when going down a grade.

16 to 27, i'm already at 3...either i'm going to end up spending too much money, or i'm going have a lot of fun with cars lol. i'm already planning the next one sometime in the next 5 years to be an S2000 or current gen Z4, depending on how much money I'm making (this will be a side car, all other 3 cars have been primary)
