Default Fire Extinguisher

Hi all,

My new GS350 was supplied with a fire extinguisher. Where & how did you guys fit it? or did you just leave it loose in the trunk?

Thanks

I took mine out and put it in my kitchen. I would expect to be fighting fires in the kitchen much more than in the car. I have seen them mounted, however, on the passenger side of the driveshaft tunnel.

Oh Ok, so there isn't a designated place for it. I thought maybe someone had forgotten to bolt it on for me.

Thanks

I did not receive a fire extinguisher with my GS. Perhaps this is specific to the Middle Eastern market.

Me to, never heard that unless it was an add-on.

I thought some countries might require carrying a fire extinguisher, but a quick Google search did not reveal any.

LOL

No it wasn't an option. Opened up the trunk and found a box. Inside it was a brand new extinguisher.

I'll take a pic and post it for you guys. Maybe a Middle Eastrn thing!

I actually carry a small extinguisher in my trunk. Never know when it will come in handy. Over the weekend on the SF Bay Area's San Mateo bridge, an old Lincohn limo caught fire from the rear-end, killing 5 of the 9 women, including a soon-to-be bride. Who knows. At the right time and place, you might save someone's life.

I didn't get one either, but i did get a first aid kit. Not sure what's in it. Probably band-aids and an aspirin.
