Joe Z Intake Installed...
I forgot I bought this over the winter. Probably the quickest intake install I've ever done. I'll let the pics speak for themselves:
Pulled the Engine cover off:
Note - This hose is attached to the underside of the intake, pop it off with a screwdriver.
Stock intake in my hand!

Truthfully no difference under normal load. I haven't hammered the car yet to see if there is a difference...

No it actually comes from the intake itself - its another hole where the incoming air goes into this chamber.

I heard that changing it does away with the sound generated from the Lexus one. Let us know as I would get this.

i'm interested in knowing if your gas mileage has changed at all and if there is any noticeable power increase.

How is just an intake tube going to help with any power or gas mileage?

It increase the air flow to the engine, which helps keep it cool.

We have had it for a year or so by now and have no issues to report. It dresses up the bay nicely. It does make the GS quieter at full throttle though.
