Hi Folks

I need your guys help and advise i want to cancel my lease - i didnt get my car yet i dont even have vin # car is still getting build in japan i purchased in apr 13 expect delivery dayte mid june i have paid to dealership $1000 deposit how should i go about to cancel my lease

any advise would help

Asif Bahi, You don't need to worry. Lease is not signed until the car is here and you have been approved by the LFS. Did you sign the financial information application?

I have also put money down to finance a GS350 and I made it clear to my car dealer that I can cancel it anytime I want without any penalties. He agreed.

Originally - I signed up for ES350 and now have switched over to GS350.

We have pre-set packages in Canada so nothing is "customized" about your Car that would make it hard for dealer to sell. (besides the colors)

Finincal appilcation form ? i just signed deal which says how much is my montly payment and how many term i got the lease for but my credit was approved by lexus

I have the same paper with all the details but my credit is not approved and I asked him not to do it until the car is here, so maybe that's where he got you.

To get you approved for credit you must have filled out a form which asks for your financial details. Did you do it ?

I don't know much else to say. My understanding at the most you will loose your deposit of $1000.
