I have a black on black GS, and live in FL, so the interior does get hot sitting in the sun!

I have used the seat ventilation when in S-flow mode, and can feel the cool air blowing through the seat...Granted, I always start it on the high setting, then turn it down once the interior of the car cools down.

So, based on my experience, the seat ventilation should be working regardless of the setting of the AC system - I have not experimented to see if it works better if the AC is on bi-level rather than using only the upper vents.

Same here. My interior get's very hot in Savannah, GA. Ventilated seats will work with or without S-flow selected. To get the most air coming from the seats simply take the A/C out of Auto and increase the fan to the highest setting. This should give you the most power going to your seat fans as long as they're selected on.

Mine work very well. Live in Tx. So take that for what it's worth.

Mine work very well, I think they are better than the ventilated seats in my 2010 ES.

Now I am starting to wonder if there is something wrong with mine. Ugh.

Its all about expectations. They don't feel like you're sitting on an air conditioning vent, but they provide ventilation which in concert with the car's AC cools you down very efficiently.

I can feel it very readily when I'm wearing one of my golf polos.

It's been pretty hot here recently... I could feel the seats were working. I wish they had something for the back as well. It takes awhile for the back to cool off. I feel the back is more important than the b*tt. I thought I had felt some air circulating behind my back before. Maybe it was from the b*tt.

Thanks, Steve. I thought I felt the air circulating behind my back before. Thanks for confirming. I wanted to say that the back (driver's back) felt like the seat warmer was turned on. My last trip yesterday (about 30 minutes) I never felt the back get any cooler. I thought that was unusual but then didn't really think more about it. My 10K is due soon too, so maybe I'll have them check on this. Thinking about bringing it in for service gives me goose bumps already.

Haha, I bet it does give you goose bumps. Tell them NO WASH!

Yeah when I lean forward, like when I lean to look to turn or merge you can hear the fan noise when my back breaks the seal with the seat surface...

So basically the ventilated seats in my 2013 rx just blow air?It does not matter if the ac is on are not,it just helps because more air is moving around cabin?

I'm not gonna lie, when I first got the car and had the seat coolers on I leaned forward and thought there was a plane overhead. They are loud! I don't really mind as long as its stopping me from getting swamp butt lol.
