They may not be able to order cars at this point, they will be shutting down production for the new model year here very shortly.
Invoice is likely going to be a car on the lot. Just wait, there are a lot of GS's on lots, the deals will be there.

Can anyone tell me what's the big differences between the 2013 GS 350 and 2014 IS 350 ?
The horse power is the same.. the size is the same.. maybe one inch difference for the width & height ...
I don't understand why it will cost $8000 for the GS 350 ?
I online chat with lexus ...and they didn't give me an answers....

1) an aluminium bonnet,
2) aluminium suspension components; though not 100% sure, someone confirm?
3) maybe electronic variable shock absorbers; someone please confirm?
4) significantly higher quality and more expensive interior materials, like plastics, leather, woodgrain, aluminium trim etc,
5) significantly higher quality stitching of leather,
6) more equipment, like head up displays, lane change warning indicators, larger sat nav screens; someone please confirm??
7) more sound deadening material.
I'm a car enthusiast or Lexus enthusiast, so what I did, is that I purchased both the 3GS and the 2IS, brand new.
So that is my first time experience with the older generation pair.
The new 4GS vs 3IS, I don't know for sure.
I wouldn't say one was better than the other; I'd say that they both have their advantages and disadvantages.
It's horses for courses.
Both the old 3GS and old 2IS shared the same platform.
Because my old 3GS had a 6 inch longer wheelbase, my old 2IS is tight in the body, whereas my old 3GS is very flexxy flexxy.
I have not yet had a chance to drive the new 3IS, but I wouldn't be surprised if the new shared platform, on a 2" shorter wheelbase in the new 3IS is a bit tighter in the body than the 2" longer wheelbase new 4GS.
The 4GS interior materials and build quality exudes/oozes in quality:

If you have your hearing valued and of course senestive for wind noise check for noise levels. The old IS has better sound insulation then my new GS. I cant say about the new IS. Havent driven it yet.

However new 4GS is quieter than old 3GS, which in turn is quieter than old 2IS - on cruising.
New Camry much louder than old Camry.
New Camry the loudest of the lot in this post...

Yeah acceleration the sound generator creates some sound, but on cruise the 4GS is very quiet, quieter than my previous ES's.

Nope, I am not talking about this, seek in this forum, there are a couple of threads on wind noise issue!

If you need a back seat, the IS will be a bad decision. I'm 6' and my seat is pretty far from the steering wheel. My 3 year old doesn't have a lot of room in the GS for her feet while sitting in a toddler seat. Can't even begin to imagine how cramped she would be in an IS. Comparing the 3GS and 2IS was a drastic difference. They said that the 4GS got more back seat leg room....hard to tell though.

Well all I can say is I don't have any wind noise.Coming out of a '12 ES350 I would know. Also I'm OCD with my car and it would bother me.
I do have some highway tire noise on certain road surfaces like concrete, though.
Early GS builds? No cold weather pkg double pane glass?
In reading the threads you posted, there are many who don't have the problem.

Does anyone with a 2013 GS 350 purchased in the previous 3 months have wind noise at 75-85 MPH? Is it true that all newly produced GS 350s now come with double pane glass (even those without the cold weather package)?
