I am the most frugal person and for years I thought only turbo engines need premium and that everything else was marketing hype.
I have a 2016, F-Sport GS-350 with 53k. I have always used regular, have owned the car for 7 years. Recently, I was like let me try premium for 1 or 2 tanks and see if I notice a difference. I notice a difference!!! I can feel the smoothness in how it runs. I admit I was wrong - premium from now on!

I was surprised by this but if you have a 16/17 GS certain gas brands will make your high pressure fuel pump chirp. I didn't believe it at first, I always in the camp of top tier gas is top tier gas. I made a video on it but I wonder what is different about Chevron gas that doesn't cause a chirp. Made a vid on it, what's funny is that even after I made that vid I tried 76 for the hell of it and the chirp came back lol.

Just a FYI: The 2 best Fuel are the Shell 93 Nittro and Sunoco Ultra 93. The Sunoco has very slight better performance, but the Shell also has very good performance and is also has the best cleaning agents for internals and the fuel system, proven by lab test and engine tear down inspections.

Yeah but Costco is about 95 cents cheaper, I drive a bit out of the way I can save another 22 cents a gallon at a different Costco but I have to be going in that direction to justify it - $1.15/gal on an estimate of 13 to 17 gal. I guess gas can vary by % ethanol and detergents but not going to worry about that at that cost diff
