Anyone had their oil changed at the dealer? If so what is the cost?

Wow...did that include a loaner vehicle and car wash too?

Yes but keep in mind 5K is free and oil is not scheduled to be changed under warranty until 10K, so I paid the going rate.

Normally it would include wash but no loaner.

I thought a good deal overall, especially with 7 quarts of synthetic.

I had my oil changed early at 1 year, and no where near 5k miles, and the dealer charged me as well. They used their own Toyota synthetic (rebranded Mobil 1 or so they said) and said my next change would be on the house. We'll see about the next one being free

Wow that's expensive I have paid around $69 for synthetic oil every time I go to my dealership, that includes loaner and I don't like to have them wash my car.

I too paid out of pocket at 5k, it was $123 with tax and all. My dealer is expensive though.

Bear in mind going rate for Synthetic is like $9 a quart, 7 quarts thats $63, plus the filter & Gasket. Obviously they pay less than that for the oil...

So maybe we should just do our our extra oil changes at a Toyota dealer? But then you don't get to sit in the comfy leather chairs.

Regardless $100 is very reasonable compared to my previous $150 BMW oil changes.

It probably would cost me about $70 to do it myself.

7 quarts at $9 a quart $63
Oil filter $6
Car wash, complementary
Food and drink complementary
Not getting dirty by having the dealer do it for about $100, Priceless

Yeap. Not worth it to save $30 or so. My dealer offers free brunch on Satrudays and 52 free car washes a year. Not a bad deal as I probably will only need 1 oil change a year as I drive like 5K miles a year if that.

The good news:
I asked for my 10K oil change during my 5K checkup, so my last oil change was free. They also loaned me another GS-350 F-Sport.

The bad news:
I normally do my own oil changes and detailing because it seems something always gets messed up when someone else does it. This time was no exception.

I had a tiny scuff near the bottom of my front bumper cover that I was going to carefully try to fix on my own. When I got my car back, I realized the scuff was gone. But on closer inspection, I learned that they didn't know my car had paint protection film over the entire front end and wound up "clouding" a huge portion of my clear bra with a buffer. Still working on a resolution with them.
