Every day 20 seconds after I start my car the xm "severe weather alert" goes off and I must clear it. I have looked in the menu and see no way to cancel alerts. Anybody have a fix?

ROFL, don't you live in an area, Tornado Alley or near it, where there is/has been severe weather? If that's the case, the only fix would be to move

Mine pops up once in a while when there is severe weather nearby...the problem is the definition of "nearby". This thing cries wolf too much, and often after the threat has passed. The real kicker is that when you look at the weather map, it reminds you of a '70s video game - huge blocks! The cheapest cell phone I've ever used does a better job!

The beautiful GS display could show much more detail, but it is not used to its full potential..

XM Weather is worth what you paid for it - NOTHING! I wouldn't pay 1 cent for it, when the trial expires.

I wonder if there's a setting to delete the NAV weather and Traffic.I've never used both.
Well,only 5 months till that freebie ends.

I turned my weather alerts off because it was so annoying. Completely useless IMHO

I don't remember off hand as I'm in the office right now. I can tell you when I get to my car after my train ride home. I think it was Settings -> Other -> Weather Alerts or something like that,.

Mine just advised me that there was a storm about 70 miles south of me. Vital info I needed immediately for sure!
