Well i hope this time around, the deal goes through! I had a thread going in the SO Ca region area about a failed attempt at a F sport in CA.

Anyway,
I have money down on a red 2013 GS350 F sport Rwd 14k miles, BSM, IPA, and Lexus Dynamic Handling pkg. $46,500, seems decent!

I live in WI and I hired autoexam in Houston to complete the PPI for me rather than flying down. The dealer assures me its in great shape and I need a third party to verify. If anyone has used autoexam or is in the Houston area, please let me know! I can save the cost of the inspection if someone here is interested in doing this for me? The inspection is scheduled for Tuesday next week in case anyone's interested and I would make it worth your while!

Just a couple questions about the bill of sale in TX

Are these dealer charges normal....

Dealer inventory tax $102.11
Title fee $69
License / reg fee $163
Inspection sticker fee $39
Doc fee $149

Let me know if some of these are negotiable or not. living in WI I have no idea whats fair or not.

I appreciate it any feedback you folks are willing to offer. I have bought cars out of state before but never sight unseen, usually just neighboring IL for example.

Those numbers look about normal, not normally negotiable since they are sort of like taxes paid to the local authorities.

I know the feeling. I also bought mine used and anxiously waited a week hoping no one got to it before I did. I just about slept in it the first night I took it home lol.

I will be a bit anxious until the results of the inspection come back. Buying a used car sight unseen is nerve racking.

No offense man, but I would never buy a used car without looking at it. Doing a quick search, and having no idea where in WI you live, GRB-HOU on Delta one-way for 7/2 is $400. You could probably negotiate that off the deal.

I might be able to go to clear lake lexus tomorrow if i have time. Live like 10-15 min from there, its where i bought my GS

I just got back from Lexus of Clear Lake. They have 2 red F-Sports, one with back interior, the other with Flaxen. The one with black is AWD. The RWD is the cleaner of the 2. It's nearly pristine.
