Default 10,000 mile service performed...

Just got the GS back from the 10,000 mile service. I had them change the oil along with the 5k service as well so I'm going to 10k change intervals from this point on. This will be the last stop at the dealer for anything but warranty work, it will go to my independent mechanic going forward.

They did the navigation firmware update in an effort to fix the multi-second startup delay I know some others have had as well, I will report back if it works. They also road force balanced the tires to fix a very slight vibration I've been having between 75-80 MPH. Issue solved.

Car continues to run great and I still am totally in love with it...just got back from driving in 500 miles round trip to NJ for the weekend and enjoyed the trip thoroughly.

Cool beans!! It would be wonderful if they improved the "mouse"/cursor accuracy as per negative reports about it.
Please let us know, bruddah!

Have you fooled around with the sensitivity settings? I adjusted mine and I find the remote touch pretty accurate...

If you go into the customization menu you can adjust the sensitivity...

THAT is valuable info!! All the reviews pretty much complain of the same inaccurate mouse issues with the system. Cool cool COOL!

Have you noticed any improvement in the back up camera startup delay?

It hasn't lagged yet since the update, but it was pretty sporadic for me that it would lag anyways...

What is the multi second startup delay? The other day, the nav was very slow to respond. Hit menu and it froze there for a bit.

Do a search, there are a couple threads about it...slow to respond is a separate issue, this was at startup...

Thanks for the update. I'm a few weeks away from my 10k service, so this is good info. My GS also runs like a champ and I've had no issues at all. Still love it.
