Default F-Sport front emblem help!?!

Just received the black pearl front emblem from sewell the other day. In the process of removing the old one, I see that there is some type of fasteners on the back that is not that easy to remove. I don't know if I should just try some force since the bottom half just has a clip, but I feel like I can possibly break it.

I don't really want to remove the front grill, and it's easy enough to reach by removing the front half of the engine cover. I know people have already done this swap out already and I'm looking for tips on trying to remove it. Especially since it appears I need to reuse them.

Just pull on it, it will give out, its about the only way. To put it back on, I use a small socket to press the pins of the clip deep back onto the peg,

I was trying to do that and it seemed like I was going to crack the grill. I thought about using a small screwdriver to lift some of those pins. Appreciate the feedback.

That would work. The worst you could do is deform the "fingers" such that it wouldn't fight tightly anymore in which case you could always bend them back in slightly to restore proper fit.

I can't find the black front emblem with the clear cover over it on swells. Anyone got a link?

You can just wrap the emblem with a smoke color window tint.

It's more an offset difference. Both cars have 285 tires. Black car has 10" wheels, silver car has 10.5" wheels.

lexusnyny - when I changed out my emblem you have to take some pliers and pull off the tabs in the back...then make sure you have new ones from sewell to replace them because once you take them off you can't put them back on.

Wow seeing that silver GS with vinyl roof I think I do want it now, had a feeling it wouldn't look right, but it looks great.

Original Lexus emblem looks much better, IMO.
