Those new names really sound like they're for overseas markets. Lexus has no history of renaming the same color here in the US.

surprised about the no LED headlights and LFA style gauges for the GS350 f sport.

also, autoblog says tweaks to the intake and exhaust system for a sportier feel, are they referring to the GS450h?

Official EPA estimates have yet to be released, but Lexus expects this new transmission to return 19 miles per gallon in the city and 29 mpg on the highway – an improvement of 1 mpg highway. The GS450h still uses a continuously variable transmission, but Lexus says that it has been optimized to mimic the shift points of an eight-speed automatic. The final powertrain change made to the 2014 Lexus GS include tweaks to the GS350's engine intake and exhaust systems, which should help give the sedan a sportier feel.

These are the color plates of the GS in kuwait that shows what each color looks like. It looks about the same with addition of the Lapiz blue.

new model year stuff usually arrives by sept/oct. Should be coming soon. But honestly if you can get a killer deal on an outgoing 2013 GS, could be a better buy.

Comparing 2013 to 2014, I would only pay maybe $2k more for a 2014 over a 2013, which IMHO means the 2013 would be the buy.

I think there will be a $5K-$6K+ at this point.

I agree, IMHO the upgrades aren't worth $5-6K.

Now, if you lease the difference might be smaller because residuals will be better on the 2014, but the 2013 will still be cheaper because it will have the low cap cost coupled with an almost 0 money factor. My guess is a 2014 will be $150 a month or so more than a 2013 to lease. Not worth $150 a month to me wither. Maybe $50 a month.

That'll change once the 2013s are gone, but its going to be December probably before you see any deals on a 2014 anywhere close to what you could get on a 2013.

That seems like a bit of a stretch to me.
I'm expecting to receive about a little over $4,000 off of MSRP on a 2014 as soon as they actually allow me to order (3% over invoice).
Not that it is impossible, but I just don't think that dealers are selling 2013s right now at $9,000 to $10,000 off of MSRP.

I think that if i could get 7k to 8k off of MSRP I'd probably get a 2013 if they had one close to what I'm wanting but if they are only offering 5k or 6k off, I don't think that it is worth it for a 2013.
