yup, the only thing that would get me to wait for a 2014 would be the 8-speed. otherwise the deals on '13s should make it worthwhile to pull the trigger. soon we will know!
yeah man, the dealership told me when i asked if i should wait until the 2014 comes out before i make my purchase that there isn't going to be any new features in the 2014. i told them about what has been "leaked" or whatever you want to call it, and the salesman said that they needed to ask their GM about it. the GM said the same thing, he said nothing has been confirmed "new" for the 2014 model. im not sure if they were trying to get me to purchase now instead of waiting for the 2014 to come out or not. but if a rumor of an 8 speed auto is true i'll wait. if not ill take advantage of the new current offers

But the IS RWD F Sport got the 8 speed transmission 
The '13 GS has been out for almost a year and a half now I think. Development of the '14 GS and '14 IS had to have been run somewhat in parallel (the release dates are just a few months from each other)
I'm really hoping that at least the '14 GS RWD F Sport gets the same tranny as the '14 IS

I find no mention of the 8 speed for the GS any where on the Lexus site. I would think that it would be a big thing if they were doing it.. not to me but it's still s big deal

If you guys recall in 2005 when Lexus released the 3rd gen GS300 in Feb/March 2005, they released the 2007 GS350 in the fall of 2006?? This was a big change! So I wont be surprise if Lexus does come out with the 8 speed on the RWD Gs with some significant option changes. I was pissed when I leased my 2006 GS300 in August 2006 when the 2007 GS350 with bigger engine and power came in Oct of 2006. Hell broke loose.

Hello cl Im New hére, just orderd a gs 350 lux a copule wheels ago, im in costa rica and there is just one lexus dealer here, mine Is suposed to arrive late nov and they said its coming with an 8speed auto transmision.
