Owners of the 4GS, how do you like the new mouse.....?

I have the sensitivity adjustment to the rightmost / slowest. Anything less felt like it was jumping around. I've been happy with it since day one, except for the music controls. I wish they had hard buttons for preset stations.

To OP, there is a sensitivity adjustment that will make the mouse more to your liking.
I have used the MMI on our Audi, Idrive on our BMW, and Command on our Mercedes, and to be honest, the Remote Touch is awesome. Its so easy to dial things faster and select things faster without the restrictions. You can move to different buttons faster. I found it a bit challening in beginning but now its a breeze and I LOVE IT. Its a great system. So I am very happy with it and could not have another car without it. I am in my late-20s so I might not be the perfect representation of the GS F-sport buyers.

I have had my new GS for about a month now and I'm pretty used to the mouse. I don't find it that hard to use BUT coming from a BMW I find the voice command subpar compared to what my X5 had. It doesn't even recognize "guidance off" which infuriates me
Like others have said the lack of a back button and the 3 step process to stop navigation instructions bugs me... Oh and the lack of a physical clock... :P

At first, I was not too sure about the remote touch. I had an aftermarket Pioneed Nav unit with touchscreen in my old Infiniti, and my wife's RX350 has the Lexus factor Nav with touchscreen.
However, I now like it better than the touchscreen...No fingerprints on the screen; because you do not have to reach it, the screen can be recessed further in the dash, cutting down on glare, and I find using the remote touch less distracting while driving than using the touchscreen.
It did take some getting used to, but now I find using the touchscreen in my wife's car to be a pain!

I like the RTC a lot now that I'm used to it. I don't know that I "prefer" it to the touch screen, but I prefer what can be done with the styling and functionality of the dash layout when one has a controller like the RTC vs a touchscreen. You wouldn't have the nice, big, wide screen if it were a touchscreen...
As for the LS vs the GS. You should drive them both back to back. I am a HUGE LS fan, and I too was deciding between a CPO LS and the GS. The LS is in its own league when it comes to refinement, silent ride, smooth operation and quality. The GS is a sportier car, there is no denying that...although it too is very smooth, quiet and refined. I absolutely love my GS and feel no draw to the LS like I always did when I had my ES's.

^^^^^.....I still have to drive the GS, but right now even if I were to like the GS, my preference would be either a white or silver 2010 or 2011 LS with AWD and non-air suspension, or a 2013 GS-F with the red leather interior, and either Nebula Gray or Starfire Pearl exterior. The LS is such a majestic looking car - but I don't know if I want something that big. The GS is almost nine inches shorter yet seemed to be very roomy for me, and I'm 5'10", 210 pounds. It all depends on what is available on the CPO market once I begin my search. Either way, it doesn't sound like anyone can go wrong with either vehicle.

Pretty big difference in the way an F Sport GS and an LS ride and drive...
The LS is a great looking car...BUT IMHO the 2010-2012 LS looks a little plain now that Lexus' styling direction has gotten a little bolder. The GS would look newer longer...
