Default Installed My LED Turn Signals.

I got to install my LED turn signals with the adapter. I purchased the adapter from ijdmtoy and the led turn signals from vleds. The only issue I had was the fitment, since I was told by ijdmtoy that the plug is universal so required to fixing up. I have posted some pics of the adapters before and after being cleaned up, hopefully this helps as there is no wiring cutting and the flashers work perfectly.

What did you have to modify or fix up to make it work?

I love this idea. Would it void my warranty?

It looks like you have to trim off the small tabs on the adapters. A Dremel will easily take care of it. Here's how it looks before:

No it does not since your not splicing any wires it stays, basically factory.

I installed the same plug and play resistors on all 4 bulbs with LED bulbs and I'm still getting hyper flash. And clues why?

Those plug and play extender (LED decoder) with resistor are not working. You'll need external resistor to cure the hyper flash. You can cut off the black box resistor and replace with external resistor will work. Or get the V3 Triton and forget about the bulky hot resistor. Also those socket take some dremel to fit to GS housing.

So with v3 vled I don't need any resistors just plug and play with no hyper flash?

Yes. With the new gen 2 V3 Triton just plug and play, no hyper flash.

Don't forget to look for their discount code. You'll save 10% - 35%.

I just order some bulbs from CARID - LED turn signal. They did't require an adapter. Shouldn't they work or will I have a hyper flash issue?

Most likely they will have a hyper flash but you wont know until you get them, maybe you got a good one that cancels it out.

I dont understand why Lexus even makes turn signals with regular bulbs... cheapens the whole car. Even the Dodge Dart has LED turn signals.

Although I agree with you that the GS is expensive enough to warrant a full LED package that would include every bulb used including the turn signals, I look at it as another "cool" mod to be able to do to fill out our enthusiast pastimes
