Newbie Owner Type Question - Used 350s
I noticed some threads in this forum about people buying and selling late model 350s with 10, 12, 17, 20 thousand miles on them. Most are 2013s. Why are there so many used 2013s on the market? Usually that's a sign something is wrong with a car if people are quitting on it so quickly. What's up with all the short span owners? I'm curious. Lexus is a new brand for me. I've not seen this with owner brands I've owned.

You have to remember that the 2013 is a really long model year, it's basically been out for 18 months. Look around the forum, there are no resorts of any serious issues, and few annoying no serious issues. Some people, especially enthusiasts, are finicky and change cars often...I wouldn't worry about it.

People don't keep their cars as often as they used to. Its just a sign of the times really. Like what has been said, there are no serious issues with the GS and it was released as an early 2013 in the beginning of 2012.

It may not apply in the US but in the UK when manufactures bring out a new model they tend to give one to all the salesmen, managers, directors, to use, then after 6/9 months they give them a new one, this creates a number of second hand cars to sell.
This puts more cars on the road, which gives a higher profile of the car which in turn hopefully creates more sales.
