So I changed my wheels on the car. Took of the tpms that came with the stock wheels and installed on my new set up. Now is not reading. Is this suppose to happen? The dealer wants me to pay 125 to diagnose. 200 per wheel if I need to change the tpms? Any suggestions?

Mine did not read for the first few minutes, but showed up after. I know there is a way to reset them, I am just not quite sure. Hopefully someone will chime in with some useful info.

When your tires shop mount the TPMS on the new wheels make sure they torque it to specs which is 36 in-lbs otherwise it will damage TPMS sensors and result not to read.
Normally when you swap out the wheels, the TPMS should be working fine without any reset or re-initialized.

r u sure they used ur original ones and not swapped to something else, I would have them take it off and adjust it if the angle is not correct and torque it down.there should be no reason not to turn it off and did u rest it urself by pressing the button under the dash.
