Where do you think the GS 350's looks rank amongst its competitors?

The styling has grown on me tremendously too.

The BMW looks more Japanese these days. The Audi has elements that suggest it could be driven both ways - backwards and forwards. The Jag looks better after the big eye was styled out, but not sure what the venting on the side is about. I started out looking at the '13 MB, but I think the '14 is stubby. My complaint about the GS is the styling around the C pillar from certain angles looks a bit stodgy, but I am sure it was done to create space inside. Otherwise I like the GS, I really like the rear (I might be the only one though).
At the end of the day all these cars have their styling merits, for me it depends which one I see on a given day. Although the GS strikes me as having a wide stance when I see it on the road, even though they are all about the same.

My vote would be:
5 Series
GS F Sport
XF
GS Luxury
A6
Spot 8 goes to the Infiniti M37, and there are only 5 spots.

I think the non F-Sport GS looks a little bland. Even the F-Sport front looks incomplete without the tri-LED headlights of the GS hybrid. For me, I think the GS F-Sport looks the best but would prefer it to look EVEN more aggresive.
I would love the GS to have the IS F-Sport 3 dimensional full spindle grille but keep the current GS rear.AND have the triple LED head-lights.
Have it in Atomic Silver ( IS color) and the F-Sport cabernet red interior and that would be the perfect car for me (in terms of looks).

1. 5 Series by wide margin
2. Lexus GS Fsport
3. Jaguar XF
4. MB Eclass
5. Audi A6
My wishlist for the GS refresh:
- LED headlights and fogs for Fsport
- Full LED taillights no amber, just like the new LS.
- more agressive wheel offset and wider tires

That's what mid-life refresh's are for. Chances are that Lexus will implement these styling changes at least for the GS F-Sport during the mid-cycle facelift of the 4th Gen GS.
I think I can hold on to my 2004 GS300 long enough for the mid-cycle refresh of the 4th gen GS as well as the 3rd gen IS. OR even the new Lexus RC.
Either way, Lexus will probably be getting my money, be it the face-lifted GS/IS or the new RC coupe.

get that part of the bumper plasti dipped, vinyl, whatever its up to you. it gives it a new look and one that resembles that new IS look
im not sure if you can do this yet but in the future you def can.
pretty much changing the entire bumper to the IS one. This guy had the old IS and he changed it

I first liked the front more but the rear became more attractive. For me, I have to lower my view to have a feel for the front even with the F Sport. At normal view, the front has become pretty plain to me now. My favorite view of the car now is the back-front side view. IMO it looks classy from this angle. Taking a walk in the neighborhood yesterday, saw a black 528 from the same angle... The GS looks way better.

My vote will be:
1. BMW 535
2. Lexus GS Lux => just because it has Fog light installed (so I don't need to put extra money for add-on)
3. Lexus GS F-Sport
4. Mercedes Benz E350 Sport => Very heavy and lack of HP
5. Audi A6

I saw an atomic silver IS in person the other day, pretty sharp.
