Borneo Motor sucks! I really hope they are reading this! I went back wanted to do a warranty claim for my left side door rear view mirror as it's acting weird. It a little retard compared to the right side. Put into R right side already tilted down, left side still not moving yet! They reject my warranty claim! Reason being... I've change the bulb of the welcome light on the side mirror to LED ones... WTH!....

Juz thought Lexus should be super quiet & comfy shouldn't have this kind of vibration on steering when in D mode. Customer's Civic FD 1.8 vibration on steering also not so bad!

& I found out after the car reaches normal operating temperature, if I open the door step on brake & shift between D & R I can hear a motor whinning sound from under the car at the gearbox area. The sound very prominent! Shift to D it whines & stops, then from D shift to R it whines & stops. Next service will go back Borneo see what they say!

& our ATF Toyota WS (World Standard) in manual it says doesn't require replacement! WTH! Really???
hey, i dont feel any vibration at the steering. let me check the gear shift and let you know.

I dont believe any lubricant will last forever. maybe more lasting but definitely need replacement at some point.

This is the funny sound I'm talking about when shifting from P to R & from R back to P. When shifting from P to R right after the beep sound(I opened the door & shift to R that's why there is a beep sound) you can hear something like a faint machine gun sound for about 1 second. When shift from R to P there is also a faint machine gun sound followed by something like a turbo whining sound... Do u guys have this funny sound?

I posted the video on Youtube :

Did anyone ever find a resolution to their vibrations while in drive but stopped?

I’m at 209k miles on the 13 GS now and I’m starting to notice the vibration getting stronger while in D and stopped (ie 0 mph) with brakes held. The steering wheel and chassis has a slight shake / vibration to it. RPMs stay steady no fluctuation and doesn’t go above 700. Changed the sparked plugs recently too.

I’m thinking it’s the engine mounts and transmission mount was going to replace those eventually and hope for the best.

• Hey did replacing the transmission or motor mounts amount to anything, or was the source something else?

Mine sometimes does this. 2013 GS with 85K on the odometer. It happens to me when the idle falls low, doesn't do it when idling normal around 7K, so I don't think it's suspension related. Kind of weird but it will sometimes drop below 6K if I'm stopped, in drive, and the car is up to temp.

Anyone else with this issue? It's very minor but causes a tiny tremor in the wheel.

That never happened to me. When ever mine was at 7K or 6K RPM mine would have some serious acceleration!

Gosh, no! Idling at 6,000 or 7,000 rpms!
7,000 rpms is what I stage at to launch my Super Stock A Class at NHRA Nationals!

Oh yes that was dumb I was speaking of it idling around 600 rpm.

Anyone else have this issue with their GS?

From my quick reading online seems there are many possible sources for this symptom

Have you ever cleaned your throttle body?

Like so?

PS 1st part of video is about how to do an older style throttle body, the 2nd part is for throttle by wire like ours.
