Default Maintenance Required warning?

So I keep getting this indicator on my cluster and cannot seem to locate where it's coming from. When I look in my navi under Maintenance, all I see is oil change/filter activated and still 5000 remaining until the indication.

Any ideas where else this may be coming from?

Is it the check engine light. I know these auto manufacturers get all kinds of creative to make it so you take the car in instead of knowing what a warning light is for. I mean we have 2 LCD screens, one of which is almost 13" and they can't simply make the car pop up a alert with x and y have detected a malfunction. Imagine how the service department would feel if they actually knew ahead of time what the car was needing. BMW did this on the 7 series a decad ago with you just giving them the fob and being able to know what was wrong. Why can't a car 10 years later self diagnose AND tell the driver what that diagnosis is.

Seems kind of silly. Post a pic if you can as I've yet to see this indicator.

No this is just the factory 5k service light. To turn it off just set the odometer to trip a then turn the car off. Hold the trip button down while Turing the on to acc not starting it and you will see the maintenance required light reset.

All it means is that you have to take the car in for maintenance at your dealer. Once they do what the do they'll remove that light and it'll go away

Thanks for posting that. I drove around for a month with that annoying light on until I could take it in for an oil change. I couldn't figure out how to turn it off and couldn't find it in the manual. Now I know.
