Upgrading to 5000k HID after OEM '14 fogs...who makes the BEST bulbs?

Being me...I spent hours last night researching this. Looks like the best 5k bulbs are Osram CBI. They use a different salt mixture inside the bulb that gives 4300k lumen output with 5k color temp. Unfortunately those are not made in the D4S mercury free setup that Toyota/Lexus uses nowadays. So, they're out.
Leaning towards the Philips Ultinons just out of fear of issues with aftermarket bulbs. They would certainly be cheaper, and probably fine...but I'm going to feel profoundly stupid if I were to have to replace lighting components because of problems.

Since when did you become so particular about matching? 
Whatever you do, make sure the bulb replacement will work with the self level function of your light. Check with the folks that have the luxury instead of F Sport. I think onexcite replaced his headlight bulbs and also has the '14 LED.

Good point...
