2014 GS350 F-Sport Lease Deal - Good?
#46
2014 GS 350 F Sport Nebula Grey Cabernet Interior MSRP $58,857 24 month 10K miles $900 drive off $449 incl. tax MF buy rate .00045 Residual 73% Los Angeles Had this deal from Keyes and Jim Falk (got at Falk because it's close to my house and office) Don't do a 27 month lease because you will have to register your car for the whole year when you will only drive it for 3 more months. Seems like Lexus really wants to move these cars with these MF's and residuals. I LOVE the car after 5 days of driving. Good luck!

BMW historically has much higher residuals. It's not always about resale value, it's about what the market will bear in bottom line lease payments and there are several ways to get there.

$52,514 "agreed value"
+$700 Acquisition fee
-$1,984 rebates/reductions (I think $1,250 of this was conquest money because I came out of a Benz)
Adjusted Cap Cost = $51,259

Great deal. Can you tell me when you got your GS? I think I may have been fooled that my offer is only available during President's Day Weekend and I bit on it. I still have 2 months left on my BMW lease and I'm stuck with making 2 lease payments.
Also, I wish I had played hardball with my salesperson a little more about my lease term. I feel the same way about 27 month lease and I tried to tell my salesperson that I want to do either 24 or 36 months and he told me the price would go up. Therefore, my plan is to extend my lease for 6 months so that I can at least use 9 months worth of registration fee in my 3rd year.

Can't you transfer the registration and plates to your new car?
I know in NY you can at least get a refund during the first year of the two-year registration.

Never thought about it but now I'm wondering if they will prorate the registration fees and give you a credit towards a new registration. For a few hundred dollars, it may not be worth the trouble.
Doesn't NY have ridiculously high registration fees?

I was told that the deal I had would only be around during President's Day Weekend and I took his word for it. If the same (or similar) deal is still around, I'd be pissed and he's just lost my referrals.

I meant when, not where. I already got mine from Thousand Oaks during President's Day.

I had a 2011 E 350. I loved my Benz. It's really a matter of personal preference. There are things I will miss about my Benz and there are things that I love about the GS. The Benz is a heavier car and more "connected" to the road. The build quality of the Benz interior is top notch.
The GS is much faster, looks amazing with the F Sport package, and has some amazing amenities. In terms of bang for your buck, Lexo wins hands down. Lexo could be a little more solid in some areas (trunk feel, sunroof cover, etc.). Lexo in Sport + mode is fun to drive. I love the exhaust sound of the Lexo.
You really can't go wrong with any of the top cars in the class. There are just some amazing lease deals on the GS 350 and it's right up there with the top of the class.

I see a lot of you with $530ish deals live in Ca, I wonder if the same deals can be worked in other states. Went to the dealership last week and the salesman said if I wanted a 530 deal the best time to lease would be August or December. Anyone heard this or disagree?
