Speaker upgrade + sub
Hey CL. I want to upgrade the speakers and add a sub to my 2013 GS-F. Any advice on some good equipment ? I don,t want to spend a million but I don,t want low budget either.

If it were my car I would, without a doubt, buy Hybrid Audio. Check out their components, you won't find much else that sounds better. The Clarus components are amazing for the price. I know that is a matter of opinion, but Hybrid Audio has won more audio competitions in the last few years than everyone else combined. Can't argue with that.
There are a few choices for subs. Depending on how much space you want to give up you could go with a single 12, two 12s, or a single 15. To get the output and save the weight of a second subwoofer the single 15 would probably be easiest. There are a lot of great subs out there. Digital Designs, Sundown Audio, JL, Ascendant Audio, Stereo Integrity, Hertz, Audison, and I think Creative Sound Solutions is still selling their SDX sub with the XBL^2 motor. They all make something that would sound great.
You'll also need an amp or two. I've always wanted some Zed Audio amps, but they're kind of expensive. The bass amp is $645 and the mids/highs amp is $595. There are a lot of good companies that make amps, most of them are listed for the subs. JL, Hertz, Audison, Sundown...
Rough estimate on price for all of this is around $2k for the equipment... and yes, that's not spending a million while not low budget. You could easily spend three times that much money on better stuff But at the point you'd need somebody who REALLY knows what they're doing to install it right and get the most out of it.
