Sitting in the car the other day I noticed that the windows were already etched. Funny though because the finance people tried to sell me window etching for added fee but I declined. Anyone else already have their windows etched without paying for it?

No etching here. And that option wasn't even available from my dealership down here in DC.
Seriously though, there must be some tough acid rain in NY or very accurate dive-bombing birds. How have you tried to remove it?

Pretty sure he's talking about having the VIN number etched in the windows for anti-theft purposes. Either that or those very accurate birds are also literate!

It's not a VIN it's a random number that's a sticker and pretty much burns into your window I worked at a Toyota dealership. Ya they do that before you buy the car because some dealerships will have it work into the price of the car and tell you it's on the car and you have to buy it. I think it's a joke. Just another scam for the dealership to make more money.
