Default Nav Issue

happens to me last week , was invited at some friends house. driving first time with wife and kids. input the address via voice command and here we go.. so far so good

but near the house i miss the last street where the house was and then the nav goes in to the loop , showing 26 miles to destination even though the house was like within 1 miles.

shock and embarrassed, asked my wife to take help from iphone goggle map..

and did i mention that was the very first time use the GPS (other then the home ).....

hopefully only one time..

my old lexus never had this issue..

Why were you shocked and embarrassed?? It's technology and gets things wrong from time to time. Glad Google Maps got you back on target.

That's not nearly as embarrassing as the responses I get when inputting Voice Command.

Lol

Today i finally got some time to play around with GPS
And while trying to add some address in the address book , was not able to find to pull address from the bluethoot address book ( synch with phone)
And end up entering the address manually. Is that the right behavior

I don't think addresses transfer over via Bluetooth. That would be great though!

Don't understand why you guys are having trouble. I've used my Lexus nav twice to find addresses on the other side of the state, several hours drive away, and in the boondocks. The Lexus nav was perfect, taking me to the exact address both times. I used manual entry both times.

I've never had an issue when entering directions manually, either. It's just the voice command that frequently misunderstands what I tell it.
